At The Young Business Agency, we believe Africa’s greatest resource is its young people. That’s why we’ve dedicated ourselves to accelerating their economic potential. Through our proven syndicated curriculum, we’ve equipped over 1,500 young Africans with the employability skills that open doors. Our job fairs have become launchpads for careers across hospitality, security, and non-profit sectors, connecting talent with opportunity.
Yet every success story reminds us how much more is possible. We’re on a mission to ensure that young talent across Africa doesn’t just survive, it thrives and leads.
Our Story
It started with one founder helping friends find jobs
In 2011, our founder returned from study abroad to work in Nigeria, and within a week of her arrival, had organised three job interviews in Lagos and Abuja. Her new friends were astounded at the speed with which she got the interviews and her job.
Soon, other young acquaintances flocked to her for help in getting employment. She would ask them to send their resumes for review, and would inevitably spend most Saturdays holding one-on-one resume review sessions.
She eventually opted to hold a session on “how to write a masterpiece of a resume” for a group of about a dozen job seekers.
Soon, youth groups in Abuja began to request that she lead additional employability skills workshops.
The rest as they say, is history.

With Job Seekers
We serve job seekers aged 18-30 with secondary education through free coaching, training, and mentoring. Participants are vetted by partner youth organizations and must complete our program to access employer networks.
With Businesses
Businesses access pre-trained, vetted entry-level candidates through our platform, reducing hiring risks and costs. Our frontline experience with job seekers provides unique insights into youth workforce development challenges.
